Sunday…Worship

by BridgetChumbley on December 20, 2009

Each time I hear this beautiful song it makes me think about the monumental task that Mary was to carry out. I can’t begin to imagine the amount of pressure she must have felt to make the right decision… especially considering she was only a child herself.

It makes me think about the things God is calling me to do that I might not feel I’m qualified to handle… but then I realize He knows exactly what I can and can’t do. What an amazing world it would be if we were all as obedient and faithful as Mary…

Love this song…makes me think about the book Two from Galilee which I like to re-read this time of year…

We’re pretty much snowed in this morning…it is so peaceful and beautiful and my daughter managed to make it home mid-blizzard yesterday so lots to be thankful for. Merry Christmas…Joyce

Thank you, Bridget. This is very beautiful, a perfect opening to this day of stillness all around us.

Oh Bridget…this was so beautiful! I am totally in the middle of something that I need to trust God knows what He is doing……and trust that I (we) can handle what He is bringing us through.

Happy Sunday….

This song brings tears to my eyes every time. We wonder why God asks us go through things, then when you look at Mary’s burden and the grace with which she bore it, I chastise my little faith. “Breath of Heaven, Hold me together…” – love that part.

Yes, I grew up with this song played around Christmas. It’s gorgeous and brings back many memories. The whole song, from the lyrics to the singing to the music, is so inspiring. Thank you for posting this.
