Sunday…Worship

by BridgetChumbley on January 10, 2010

I ran across this song and absolutely fell in love with it! The lyrics fit so well with the storms I’m facing… as well as the big changes on the horizon.

There’s a raging sea
Right in front of me
Wants to pull me in
Bring me to my knees
So let the waters rise
If You want them to
I will follow You
I will follow You
I will follow You… (Let The Waters Rise~Mikeschair)

These words bring such comfort and are a wonderful reminder to have faith… God will take care of the rest!

But I trust in you, O LORD; I say, “You are my God.” Psalm 31:14

There is such comfort in our uncertain times that we serve an ever-faithful God who will always be near.

SO I have K-LOVE playing right now…how God-ronic that Third Day’s “Cry out to Jesus” is playing…..

There is hope for the helpless
Rest for the weary
Love for the broken heart
There is grace and forgiveness
Mercy and healing
He’ll meet you wherever you are
Cry out to Jesus

I’m so thankful to have Christ there with me in each and every raging sea I find myself in. Which has been a few lately. Love those lyrics, Bridget.

I was really touched by the lyrics. I hadn’t heard the song before, so it had an even bigger impact!

Thanks for stopping by, Heather. :)

I like this a lot too. Thanks for sharing it. Following Him in each raging sea — may not be seen on the surface — but, yep, they are there inside.

Happy New Year, Bridget! You’re in my thoughts, with a smile.;)
