He and his wife had invited us over to dinner for the first time. It was summer and informal so none of us were wearing shoes. I looked down and couldn't help notice his pedicure. Bright pink nail polish with white polka dots. He was entirely unashamed (and rightfully so) when he explained that sometimes living with FIVE daughters and a wife, he fell victim to "girlie things."
