Fun Friday…Unwrapped

by BridgetChumbley on May 21, 2010

My 15 seconds of fame are over, and fortunately there were no speaking parts to embarrass me further. Here’s a video of the Food Network show Unwrapped that aired last Saturday, featuring a segment with @Whiffies (and me).

“When you die, if you get a choice between going to regular heaven or pie heaven, choose pie heaven. It might be a trick, but if it’s not, mmmmmmmm, boy.” ~ Jack Handy

It must have taken you more than 15 seconds to eat that pie, now.

I love all the weighing and measuring. . . of something that’s going to be fried!

Thanks for the fun.

They are one of the few things I eat that are deep fried. It isn’t at all greasy… just yummy! :)

You’re so cute! Even while eating.

I’m relieved they left out the part where the pie exploded. I figured it would be the part they showed, as it dripped down my chin..

I watched the whole segment and then had to rewind it. I had missed you the first time! Anyway, that’s really cool. I was in Anchorage for work training around five years ago and signed up to sing in the choir for a Benny Hinn crusade. It was pretty cool and I was told later that they kept showing me on TV when it aired. That was pretty cool!

Also, I can’t believe I was so close to having one of these fried pies and missed it. It made it that much worse seeing how good they looked on TV. :)

Next time you or your wife are in town you must get one. I’d be happy to meet up with ya (I love an excuse to go). ;)

Helen you are such a sweetheart. If they ever figure out a good way to ship them so they stay fresh and good… you know you’ll be on my list.
