Dear Friends,
I wanted to thank you all for your encouragement, support, and amazing comments. This blog and the carnivals have been a huge blessing in my life, and I’m so grateful to have met such incredible writers and friends along this journey.
It’s with a heavy heart that I tell you this will be my last post for a while. There are some extremely important things in my life that need to be taken care of, and to be completely honest… I’ve sort of lost my inspiration to write at this time.
I pray you all have a Merry Christmas, and a very blessed New Year.
I’m talking to someone about hosting the blog carnivals in the future, and will make sure to let everyone know once I have an answer.
Blessings,
Bridget

We will miss you and I will be praying for you…Merry Christmas!
Bridget, like Jay, I’ll be praying. You do what you need to do, and we’ll look forward to you coming back whn it’s time. But know that we are with you.
I, too, join the others in extending prayers. May the blessings of this season be yours, and may peace be always with you.
Prayers will be with you this Christmas season and beyond. Thank you for all that you’ve done to host the carnival.
Bridget, Thank you for gifting us with your time for so long. I’m glad you are brave enough to step away from what has been successful here, to rally around your own important needs. We each have to stay healthy ourselves in order to give to others, and sometimes “real life” presses in hard and needs more of our attention.
We will be praying for all to go well in your journey, and will look forward to your return when the Lord makes that possible.
Blessings, friend,
Lisa
Bridget — may you and yours do what needs doing and thrive — we’ll miss you and your good words.
Dear Bridget,
Although I was just getting to know you, and have so enjoyed your site, I bless in your journey and pray God’s light shine always on your path. I hope you return soon. Until then may you walk in God’s peace, joy and prosperity in every area of your life. Happy Christmas and a blessed new year!
Though we will miss your carnivals and your great blog posts, I know I for one completely understand that you need time off. Time to do what you need to in your life, to figure out a new season, etc. I pray that you will find the answers you seek and hope to see you back here one day!
I love you.
Aww, so sad, but I totally understand. Blessings to you, Bridget! Hopefully we’ll still ‘see’ you around.
Thanks for what you’ve done for all of us. You sure moved me into a different direction … as Susie pushed me that way after I’d begun my blog. I have so looked forward to “Carnivaling”. It’s helped me meet and reunite with lots of people.
You are greatly appreciated and respected. And prayers and thoughts will be poured out to you.
You’ve been an encouargement to many – please take heart in the prayers that are ascending from the lives you have touched – mine included.
I am convinced that God is about to do some amazing work in and through you.
blessings and love…
Hey Bridget, I haven’t followed your blog for nearly as long as other commenters, but I understand your post (and I’ve been perusing your archive). I went through a difficult season earlier this year and my writing dropped off the edge for three months. I posted one blog story during that time. I just couldn’t write for the public.
You have a lot of followers and wonderful content out here. I’m sure I speak for most of us when I say your blog will remain on our follow list. Take your time. Let God do His work in you and your family. We’ll be here when you get back, and we can’t wait to hear how God plays this out. Just write in your journal here and there, maybe a poem or two in a notebook, anything that expresses yourself onto a page.
After all, you’re a writer.
on to the next thing
carry on in God
lots of Love to you
Bridget ~
I understand how hard it is to put a blog on pause indefinitely. I know that other things need to come first. I pray that the Lord will continue to work through you in the lives of others, even as He works in your life through others.
I love you! : )
Life is full of chapters, and the story is not ended yet, only another chapter. May the Lord guide you in fulfilling the tasks ahead of you and mend and heal every situation that needs attention. I am simply another person who has been touched by you and your care over hosting this carnival. May you return again in your own time, and in His timing. Much Love !!
We love you, Bridget! You know how to find us if you want to! (And we know how to find you if you don’t!
)
Bridget,
Hope you come back soon.
